What Is a Tornador Gun (Tornado / Clean Gun)?
A Tornador Gun is a powerful air-driven car detailing tool that sprays cleaning solution in a circular vortex, lifting dirt from surfaces with minimal effort. Often called a tornado gun or clean gun, it’s one of the most effective tools for interior detailing, used by professionals and car enthusiasts alike.
Imagine combining the power of compressed air with a spinning water cyclone — that’s what the Tornador does, blasting grime from cup holders, air vents, and carpet fibers without harsh scrubbing.
How to Use Tornador? (tornado, clean gun)
1: Pick up the tornador and check it if in good station,ex. Connectors, adjust knob, finger grip, brush or horn head etc.
2: Check air compressor rate 6-8kg/cm⊃2;(0.6-0.8Bar.),no exceeding 10kg/cm⊃2;(1.0Bar).
3: Check if the cleaned object is capable of force 10kg/cm⊃2;.
4: Keep tornador a distance 1-10cm from the cleaned object.
5: Do not point to human body.
6: Keep out the touch of child.
Best Surfaces to Use the Tornador Gun On
Car seats (fabric and leather)
Carpets and floor mats
Door panels and trim
Dashboards
Gear knobs and center consoles
AC vents and small crevices
Avoid use on touchscreens, electronics, and delicate upholstery without first testing.
What You Need Before You Start
A Tornador Gun (e.g., Tornador Classic Z-010 or Brilliatech TornadoForce)
Air compressor (recommended: 5–6.5 CFM @ 90 PSI)
Interior cleaner or APC (all-purpose cleaner, diluted properly)
Microfiber towels
Optional: vacuum or extractor for final step
Step-by-Step: How to Use a Tornador Gun for Car Detailing
1. Fill the Fluid Reservoir
Pour in your diluted cleaning solution (usually a 1:10 mix of APC and water) into the bottle beneath the gun.
Avoid foaming or corrosive chemicals — these can clog the gun or damage interior surfaces.
2. Connect to the Air Compressor
Attach the gun to your compressor using a standard quick-connect fitting. Set pressure between 70–90 PSI. Ensure airflow is consistent to keep the internal spinning tip rotating smoothly.
3. Begin with Cleaning Mode
Press the trigger halfway to spray both air and solution. Hold the nozzle 2–5 inches from the surface and move it slowly in overlapping strokes.
Example: To clean a floor mat, spray in small sections, moving in circular motions to loosen embedded dirt.
4. Switch to Air-Only Drying
Press the trigger fully to activate air-only mode. This blasts away loosened dirt and helps surfaces dry quickly.
You can alternate between wet and dry modes for heavily soiled areas.
5. Wipe or Extract
Use a microfiber towel to remove any remaining moisture or dirt. For fabric seats or carpets, follow up with a wet/dry vacuum or extractor.
Maintenance Tips for Your Tornador Gun
Rinse with clean water after each use
Never store with solution inside the bottle
Occasionally lubricate internal parts if usage is heavy
Check and clean the spinning tip for clogs
Pro Tips for Better Results
Use in a well-ventilated area to avoid mist buildup
Spray in sections — don’t oversaturate large areas
Combine with interior brushes for textured surfaces
For pet hair or lint, pre-vacuum before using the Tornador
